USACF enjoys an excellent partnership with The Mothers of Africa, working together to establish and support libraries in 50+ schools in Ghana. Building on that relationship, in 2019 we brought the Bridge Project to Ghana. The Mothers had identified Kotobabi No. 2 Primary School in Accra for our pilot site.
On October 9, 2019 we went to Kotobabi to launch the project. Excitement was great amongst local officials including the mayor and we were treated to a grand ribbon cutting ceremony. Here’s an article by the Ghana News Agency:
